Life has become much easier…
A while ago I went on the Xavier University freshman facebook searching for a room mate. The first person that responded was this dude from Long Island, NY named Dera, who was also looking for a roommate. After a few messages and confirmation that he’s not weird or gay, he seemed like a pretty cool fellow so I accepted the request. We’ve been in contact via facebook for a few weeks now and early today, for one reason or another, I decided to ask if he was Nigerian. The nigga responded with an awkward “Yes”, but when I told him I am too shit wasn’t awkward anymore. Like…. everything will be that much easier now. We won’t have to go through that weird culture gap; that “Bro, what the hell are you eating?” type shit… but yea. That’s all.
